Shining Vale plot

Pat and Terry Phelps spend their life savings to move from a Brooklyn apartment to a mansion in Shining Vale, Connecticut, in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage after Pat has an affair with their young handyman. As they try to reconnect with each other and their children Gaynor and Jake, the family discovers why their home was so cheap: it was the place where terrible atrocities took place. Pat begins to see the ghost of the killer, a 1950s housewife named Rosemary.
