Save Me plot

After Beth nearly chokes on a sandwich, she suddenly finds herself in direct contact with God. She is convinced that she must help Him communicate with others. Her teenage daughter Emily is shocked and her husband Tom is skeptical. To make matters worse, Tom's ex-mistress, Carly McKenna, is in a coma after being nearly struck by lightning in the Harpers' front yard.
