Room for Two plot

Edie has been widowed very recently. She decides to pack her bags and leave for New York to visit her daughter, Jill. Jill, meanwhile, has become a successful TV show producer and works for the show 'Wake Up, New York'. Once in the audience of the show, Edie impresses the director and is even offered a job. In addition to roommates, mother and daughter now also become colleagues.
