Muddling Through plot
Connie Drego is released from prison on parole after three years. She was serving a sentence for shooting her cheating husband. She returns to Drego's Oasis, the restaurant/motel she ran before she was captured and kept open for her eldest daughter Madeline in her absence. However, Madeline is married to Duane Cooper, the officer who arrested Connie and whose testimony led to her conviction.
