An end season in which more loose ends were sometimes created than tied up. An example of this is Luke, who wants to drop out of school to start a business, but in the last episode decides to go to another school[. The Alex storyline also seemed to have to be rushed in three different ways.
For me, the shine of this series has already worn off. Some episodes (like the Halloween episode) were still pretty fun, but all in all, nothing special anymore.

Yesterday the last episode and although the level gradually decreased, the sitcom was still sufficiently entertaining that I had no trouble watching further. It is not on top of HIMYM or Friends, but it is the step below. The Dunphy family in particular captivated me the most throughout the series. I didn't like the additions of the child actors who play Joe and Lily respectively and yet both clearly perform below the original cast. To be honest, I expected more from the final. All in all, it didn't do much for me, where other sitcoms can have that more.
