Hein plot
When Hein's grandfather has an accident, Hein's father suddenly has to go to his father. Because Hein was supposed to stay with his father that week, Hein goes along. When Hein walks around the cemetery of his grandfather, who is an undertaker, he sees the ghost of a woman. Later that evening when he sneaks into the mortuary with Jordi, he sees her again. His grandfather tells him that this is a gift and that it is up to him to guide the spirit to eternal rest.

Having watched the entire first series, I have now also seen the second series in its entirety. Of the same high standard: intriguing plots, clever solutions, moving lessons, and sublime acting from everyone involved. In addition to the "unique" plot of each episode, there are now also a few ongoing storylines that make it quite interesting to watch the entire series in the correct order – particularly the marriage between Menno and Terrence, the appearance of Terrence's ex-mother-in-law Maria and her wish to rebury her deceased son John in Suriname, and Hein's relationship with the mysterious Jackie.
