Hadimassa plot
Popular satirical sketch program, which stayed far from political current affairs and journalistic satire, but which parodied a lot of the trends of the moment. Hadimassa's content consisted of prosperity satire, television parodies and "intellectual variety numbers." This program made Kees van Kooten and Wim de Bie known to the general public. A well-known skit consists of a newscaster announcing the end of the world, and a family, seeing this on television, decides not to hold back, because it doesn't matter anymore.
