Geub plot

In Geub, the wife of a fictional Philippe Geubels runs off with the charismatic Dutchman William Van Bronkhorst thirty years his senior. In addition to being retired, William is also an almost too sympathetic man who seems impossible to get angry. Although that doesn't stop Philippe from making an attempt every now and then. Deeply humiliated and depressed, Flanders' most popular comedian falls back on his mother Sonja, who assists him with advice and laundry baskets full of ironed goods. Furthermore, Philippe's entourage consists of his regular technician Dikke Dirk and his best friend Pancake. They do what they can to make Philippe happy again, but unfortunately that is not much.
