Flowers plot
The series follows the Flowers family. This family consists of six people who all know their idiosyncrasies. Maurice is the depressed father who writes children's books. Deborah is his wife who gives music lessons. Their twenty-five-year-old twins are Donald, an inventor, and Amy, a lesbian musician. In addition, Hattie, Maurice's mother, is senile and they have to deal with Shun, a Japanese illustrator.
