Jim Anderson is a family man and he doesn't just take his job seriously; he's pretty good at it too. Together with his wife Margaret Anderson, he tries to provide for his family as best as possible. Their three children, Betty "Princess", James "Bud" and Kathy "Kitten", are always well behaved, polite and show a lot of respect towards their parents. When troubles arise within the family, Jim and Margaret always manage to solve things in a neat and dignified way.
