Bent plot
Recently divorced, no-nonsense lawyer Alex hires contractor Pete to renovate her kitchen. Pete is an irresponsible womanizer trying to rebuild his life after a gambling addiction. Uptight Alex, whose husband is in prison for insider trading, tries to maintain a tight work schedule while also raising her 8-year-old daughter Charlie.
