Bad Education plot

Bad Education is set at Abbey Grove School in Hertfordshire. Young Alfie is a terribly bad history teacher who is mainly concerned with trying to impress his female colleague Mrs Gulliver, the biology teacher. Alfie also wants to be a friend to his students and plays the popular teacher. Assistant headmistress Pickwell is an old school teacher and can't stand her younger colleagues. She wants to do everything she can to create a well-oiled and highly disciplined school. Alfie regularly clashes with her, but is lucky to have Fraser, the director, behind him. Fraser wants to be as cool as Alfie.
