Alone Together plot

Two misfits, Esther and Benji, try to navigate everyday life in Los Angeles. This is anything but easy as the inhabitants of this city are superficial, status-oriented and vain. However, they have a lot of support from each other and are good friends. The two have set clear rules about their friendship; it is and remains purely platonic. In this way they make their way through the hectic pace.
