Meet René, the most wanted man in occupied France: women want his body. The resistance wants his brain. And the Nazis want his sausage! In a small cafe in occupied France, the harassed owner, René, is fighting his own war. With the residence of the German army in his bar, René risks his neck to help the resistance by hiding two British pilots and a radio transmitter in the top room. As if this wasn't enough, René is also involved in hiding a precious painting in a garlic sausage, which is even now under investigation by the Gestapo. But René's real problem is his wife, Edith, and what she will do to him when she finds out he's having affairs with his two sexy waitresses!

In this second season, we are introduced to Officer “Good Moaning” Crabtree, among others. He is an Englishman sent by the British Espionage Service and he goes undercover as a police officer in Nouvian. However, the man speaks pretty bad French and his "goodmeuning", yes who does not know that pronunciation. His character makes the series even more fun to watch. René has great difficulty controlling his feelings for his women.

In the second season, the humor remains of a high quality. If not better. It contains good dialogue. Of course, much of the humor is the same as the first season and mainly comes from recurring moments or dialogue.

In this season Rene plays his twin brother Rene which leads to bizarre situations. Furthermore, all well-known characters return, each with their own comic moments. The story of the English Pilots and the Madonna with… also continues unabated. The second season consists of only six episodes, unfortunately because it remains a very nice series.
