Courage the Cowardly Dog plot
Courage the dog was left as a puppy and found by Muriël, who lives with her husband Eustace on a farm somewhere in Nowhere. Scary things are happening in Nowhere, and Courage must overcome his fears to save his new home.

Surreal and dark, but always with a moving approach. Possibly one of the best cartoons ever in how it so aptly portrays the atmosphere of an abandoned farm amidst paranormal events. Also the kind of series that, looking back, turns out to be even better than you thought in a childish innocence. Also trendsetting towards new series such as Gravity Falls and Adventure Time. Wonder if I would do this bleak misery to my young nephew, but that aside...

One of my favorite Cartoon Network series. I really loved this as a kid. Wonderfully grim atmosphere and characters. Actually, the dog Courage himself wasn't that much into it, but everything that was happening around him.
