Captain N: The Game Master plot

Kevin Keene, a teenager from Northridge California and his dog Duke mysteriously end up in the universe of Videoland, where Nintendo games come to life. They must stop the villain Mother Brain from destroying Videoland. Together with Princess Lana, Simon Belmont, Mega Man and Kid Icarus, he forms the N-Team and blasts his way through the game landscape with his Zapper.

Mother Brain: It won't be long before I, beautiful goddess that I am, become Queen of Videoland! Ah-ha ha ha ha! Fantastische animatieserie. Pure jeugdsentiment. Vier solide sterren van mijn kant voor 'Captain N: The Game Master (1989)'.

Indertijd was dit echt fantastisch. Nintendo-karakters in de hoofdrol (o.a. MegaMan, Kid Icarus, Simon Belmont), en later in de serie nog een kleine review van een Nintendo-game. Jeugdsentiment ten top. Kan de afleveringen niet meer voor de geest halen, vandaar geen sterren van mijn kant. Maar qua emotionele waarde, en de beleving als klein ventje, is dit echt vier sterren

At the time this was really fantastic. Nintendo characters in the lead (including MegaMan, Kid Icarus, Simon Belmont), and later in the series a small review of a Nintendo game. Youth spirit at its peak. Can't remember the episodes anymore, hence no stars from my side. But in terms of emotional value, and the experience as a little boy, this is really four stars
