Sledge Hammer! plot
Inspector Sledge Hammer is a violent, nihilistic, and sadistic detective for the San Francisco Police Department. His best friend is his .44 Magnum, and his adage is "Trust me. I know what I'm doing". However, his cases are usually solved by his female partner, Dori Doreau. In addition, Dori also regularly has to make sure that Sledge doesn't get into trouble.
