Mammon plot

Peter Verås is an inflexible journalist at Norway's most respected newspaper. When he receives evidence from an anonymous source about financial fraud at a multinational that appears to involve Norway's political and banking elite, he makes the mistake of a lifetime. The evidence turns out to lead to his brother. Still, he continues the investigation and becomes entangled in a heart-pounding mystery. The closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous it becomes for him and his family. How far do you go as a journalist to uncover the truth?

This is the best series I've seen in this genre so far. An ingenious plot, sometimes exciting, sometimes dramatic, but also occasionally brutal. A top cast with many familiar faces, at least if you like to watch Scandinavian crime series.

I thought the first season was a bit better than the second because the story was a bit clearer. The second season had a bit too many side jumps, making the 'who's behind what' a bit more messy.

This does not alter the fact that this entire series is highly recommended. I wish there was a third season very soon.
