Blackout plot
After the sabotage of a nuclear power plant, the lights go out in Belgium. At the same time, Elke, the daughter of Prime Minister Annemie Hillebrand, is kidnapped. The message is clear: if the light goes back on, her daughter will die. Hillebrand instructs Michaël Dendoncker, Head of the Anti-Terrorism Department, to find her daughter in the utmost secrecy and to investigate who is behind this blackout. While Hillebrand gets entangled in a political tangle, Dendoncker gropes in the dark.
