Using hours of exclusive archival footage, the docuseries takes viewers back four decades to the moments after a deranged killer laced Tylenol pills with cyanide and killed seven people in the Chicago area. Fear and panic shot through the country, with no one knowing how widespread the poisonings were. Investigators are focusing on a prime suspect: James Lewis. The episodes feature contemporary interviews with the few surviving witnesses, forty years after the crimes were committed.
