Miyo Saimori was the unhappy child of a lovelessly arranged marriage. After her mother died, her father welcomed his mistress and her daughter Kaya to their home. From then on, Miyo's life was reduced to that of a servant. After years of being treated like dirt, Miyo has learned to keep a low profile, hide her pain and follow every command. So it comes as no surprise that she has to marry Kiyoka Kudou, a military captain who is rumored to be so cruel that he has chased away all his potential wives.
