Het Water Komt plot

Four-part documentary series on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the flood disaster. Winfried Baijens, who grew up in Zeeland himself, presents four documentaries that use archive material and poignant eyewitness accounts to map out how the disaster could unfold, how the imminent danger was insufficiently anticipated in advance, and what we have learned from the disaster. However, the question remains whether we have learned enough. The series takes the viewer both back in time and forward to the future.
