Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street plot

Crime documentary series about Bernie Madoff, Wall Street's most notorious con artist. Madoff is the "funder" behind a multi-billion dollar Ponzi scheme that fooled investors for years before collapsing in 2008. With his Ponzi scheme, Madoff is said to have defrauded his clients of about $65 billion; this is the largest individual investment fraud ever. Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison in 2009 and died in April 2022.

Fascinating documentary. Shows to me again how naive people are, and also how difficult financial systems are for many people to understand - including people who should know better.
