Lampje plot

Lampje lives with her father Augustus in the lighthouse. He sends her upstairs every night to turn on the light. On a turbulent day everything goes wrong: the matches are gone, the fire stays out and a large ship crashes against the rocks. Lampje is evicted from the house and has to work in the infamous Black House. And there, everyone knows, lives a monster. The Black House is deserted, except for a few nervous staff members. Nobody wants to work there. Lampie has no choice, she must take care of the monster locked in the tower room. Against all odds, including her own, Lampje befriends the monster.
