Appels en Sinaasappels, de Aantrekkingskracht van de Israëlische Kibboets plot

Idealistic and rebellious young people from all over the world came to Israel from the 1970s to live and work in a kibbutz for short or longer periods of time. The popular Israeli communities were socialistically based. This documentary diptych shows how the volunteers experienced their 'coming of age' there. In addition to former volunteers from Sweden, Denmark and England, among others, two Dutch people can be seen who share their memory of their collective existence.
