Flower of Evil plot
Baik Hee Sung, a seemingly ordinary man, turns out to be a dangerous psychopath wanted by the police for countless murders. However, he falls in love with Cha Ji Won, a homicide detective. He then erases all traces of his identity to marry her, but Cha Ji Won slowly begins to doubt her husband.

"Flower of Evil" (2020) starts off as a sort of cross between "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "Dexter." With the cat-and-mouse game between a female detective and her own husband, who is holding a man captive in his workshop. Could he be that notorious serial killer? But "Flower of Evil" (2020) proves to be overly melodramatic and saccharine, even for a K-drama. Lots of flowing tears and intense emotion. It's a shame that you figure out the ins and outs pretty quickly, while the characters are still puzzling over the course of the episodes. It all leads to a somewhat predictable anticlimax, by which point even the murder mystery is already solved.
