Origins of Hip Hop delves into the world of one of Hip Hop's biggest stars as employees, friends, family and the artists themselves show where their stories began and followed their path to success. Each episode explores the origin stories and experiences of the artists that shaped them into the hitmakers they are today. Through narrations by Mass Appeal Records co-owner Nas and interviews with the artists' families, friends and collaborators, intimate interviews, rare archival footage and their favorite music are also discussed.
