Gospel connects and gives hope. Yet the well-known Dutch songbirds have little interest in these religious sounds. Giovanca challenges Charly Luske, Carolina Dijkhuizen, Lucas Hamming, Desray Manders, Lisa Loeb, Edwin Jonker, Elske DeWall and Dries Roelvink in a musical genre that is still unknown to them. Led by team captains Berget Lewis and Shirma Rouse, they dive into the world of gospel; to the team captains annex the assignment to properly guide the candidates in this. Who will be the Aretha Franklin of the Netherlands?
