The Wild Wild West plot

James “Jim” West, a charismatic gunfighter, and Artemus Gordon, a brilliant inventor and master of disguise, are agents of the United States Secret Service. They must protect the President of the United States and the United States itself from all kinds of dangers. For this they have many handy gadgets at their disposal, which are way ahead of their time. The two move in a luxury steam train called 'The Wanderer', which includes a mobile laboratory. A regular enemy of the duo is the mad scientist Dr. Miguelito Quixote Loveless, whose engineering knowledge rivals or exceeds Gordon's. His goal is to conquer the United States, and eventually the world. Though Jim and Gordon keep thwarting his plans, they never succeed in arresting him. Loveless has two permanent henchmen. The colossal Voltaire and the beautiful Antoinette.
