The Paul Lynde Show plot

Paul Simms is a quiet, decent lawyer who lives in California with his wife and children. His life is turned upside down when Howie, his oldest daughter's new husband, moves into their home. He is both an idiot and a genius, because Howie always manages to pick the most profitable stocks without spending a dime and constantly loses his jobs. Because of these setbacks, Paul has to keep his anger and despair in check.
