10 Items or Less plot

Leslie Pool, an unsuccessful New York City businessman, returns to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio after the death of his father. Through an inheritance he became the owner of supermarket Greens & Grains. As a manager, he tries to keep the company afloat. Leslie is aided in this by the dysfunctional staff, which includes the dorky stock filler Carl, his pregnant girlfriend Yolanda, the dreaming cashier Richard and the handsome butcher Todd, who wants to be a NASCAR racer.
