Switch plot

Pete Ryan is a smooth-talking con artist and Frank MacBride is the bad cop who busted him. After Frank retires and Pete gets out of prison, they decide to start a detective agency in Los Angeles together. With their knowledge of crimes and scams, they take on other villains. They are aided by restaurant owner and former con man Malcolm Argos, and their naive but skilled assistant Maggie Philbin.
