Raised by Wolves plot
Two androids have been given the mission to raise human children somewhere on a planet deep in the galaxy. When the human colony threatens to be destroyed by religious differences, the androids learn that working on behalf of humans is an underestimated and extremely complicated task.

After the spectacular first episode, things immediately collapse a bit, mainly due to a temporary lack of plot, but gradually the series picks up again, to work towards an exciting (and of course partly unsatisfactory) finale. Developed by Ridley Scott, who also directed the first two episodes. His sense of color and aesthetics is clearly evident - the series seems to be set in the same universe as Prometheus. At times very good, then again so-so, but in the end I am looking forward to the already announced second season.

Best series I've seen in a long time and lots of interesting elements to think about.
Reading the comic helps with some background in understanding what the necromancers are and the battle between the atheists and the believers and is interesting because it juxtaposes between the battle between the left and the right and eventually the battle between science at some point in the future and the ultimate AI which is a fusion of all the sciences trying to help man understand that there is no God and thus prayers are nonsense and "what if the world is destroyed" and we could try everything again in another place ? Reminded me of Asimov's story where the last scientists shut down trying to save the world surrounded by madmen.
With in that new place there the reference to biblical themes such as the serpent and mother and father (adam and eve) and other elements and references.
Interesting stuff.
