In 'De Tiende van Tijl', Tijl Beckand shows that classical music is indeed rock & roll. Nice performances, special guests and fun will surprise the viewer. Tijl's infectious passion for classical music, in combination with his knowledge of the habits of composers, forms a good basis for this program. He gives the composers a face and the compositions color. Tijl Beckand is assisted in the program by pianist Iris Hond and DJ, musicologist and Radio 4 presenter Maartje Stokkers.
