Everybody Hates Chris plot

Everybody Hates Chris revolves around the Rock family. Father Julius and mother Rochelle have three children: Chris, Drew and Tonya. The latter two attend a nearby school, but Julius and Rochelle have higher expectations of Chris, so they send him to Corleone Junior High. Every day Chris has to catch 3 buses to go to school and therefore has to leave at 06:15 in the morning. At that school he is the only 'black' and is therefore often bullied by Joey Caruso. Chris tries to grow up as best he can with all the madness around him. Slightly based on the life of comedian Chris Rock.
