Suspense plot

This anthology series features mysterious thriller stories. These are based on classic short stories with famous actors. We see, among other things, how a man who is broke and can no longer get a job thanks to his ex-boss, murders him and flees New York, together with his wife. There is also a poison killer active in another story. Police are targeting a woman as a suspect. There are also three sailors hiding in an inn in England. They have stolen a precious ruby in India after which they are chased by the owner who will not let it go.
