Så Går det till på Saltkråkan plot

The girl Tjorven lives on the island of Saltkråkan in the Stockholm archipelago, together with the dog Båtsman, her parents Nisse and Märta and her two big sisters Teddy and Freddy. When summer comes, the Melkersson family moves to Mrs. Sjöblom's cottage, called Snickargården, and Tjorven meets her peer Pelle, his big brothers Niklas and Johan, and their father. Melker, their father is a widower. His daughter Malin, the oldest child in the family, takes on the role of mother as much as possible.
