How to Start Your Own Country plot

We follow Danny Wallace on his quest to found his own independent nation, The Kingdom of Lovely. The kingdom has claimed a flat in Bow, London as its territory. Danny is determined to make his country the best country in the world. But that requires laws and regulations. He visits an American Utopia, a model of happy citizens, and a Danish Utopia, founded by 'happy hippies'. Lovely is not recognized as a country by the UN because it has no territory of its own. Danny visits the UN headquarters in New York and tries to get support from various ambassadors.
