Rogier van ter Doest plot

Captain Rogier van Ter Doest tries to help the farmers, because Grand Duke Eremboud van Dordenaere is a weak monarch who fills his days painting miniatures. He prefers to leave the reigns to his two councilors Willem and Gerolf. However, both lead a reign of terror and accumulate power and wealth at the expense of the poor peasants.
