Plan Cœur plot
When Elsa from Paris can't get over her ex, her best friends hire a gigolo to lend her a hand. But their plan works a little too well. When Elsa meets the beautiful teacher Jules, her outlook on life begins to change. When one of her friends discovers the truth, she tries to keep Elsa away from Jules.

I must confess that I would not have quickly added Plan Coeur to my to see list if the screenplay hadn't been written by Brit Chris Lang. After the dramas Unforgotten and Innocent, I was curious if Lang could be just as inventive in a romantic comedy. And in part it is. Plan Coeur is French, très francais. Set in Paris and with a French cast, Plan Coeur follows the iron laws of the rom-com. Still, Lang manages to construct some nice storylines. The wheel is not reinvented here, but the characters are colorful and the actors are fine. Plan Coeur will surely bring a smile to the young target group.
