Kommissarie Winter season 3

Solid Swedish crime series. I consider this pretty much the forerunner of the later series. If you are planning to watch this series, I can recommend that you first watch the two seasons of prequels (not on Moviemeter, but can be found at Kommissarie Winter (TV Series 2001–2004) - IMDb The overview of all three seasons can also be found at [url=https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspector_Winter]Inspector Winter - Wikipedia[ /url]). The cast consists of just about all famous actors and actresses who also play in later crime series, some even get their own series. E.g. the character Bertil from the prequels plays the lead role in the later Wallander series.
As for this Winter series with Magnus Krepper in the lead role: four great stories that are quite exciting at certain times. Well acted. There are also some downsides that are pretty much the standard in this kind of series: detectives who regularly perform one-man actions (they have to be hit at least once to fill time) or the pace that is very slow at certain moments: too long meaningless scenes . Also the occasionally truncated, so poorly developed endings moderate my rating a bit.
