The Neverending Story plot
Central is Bastian Bux, who travels to Fantasia through the magical book 'The Infinite Story'. Usually he does this to escape the problems in his own life, or to solve a problem in Fantasia. The sorceress Xayide is a staunch opponent of Bastian. The tree troll Barktroll often accompanies Bastian on his journeys through Fantasia. During his adventures Bastian learns a lot about life and makes many new friends.
