When a businesswoman is kidnapped in South Africa, expert negotiator Dominic King thinks he's dealing with a simple matter: just pay and get her back. But when the exchange fails and the gang strikes again in Britain, kidnapper Willard's motives turn a lot more grim. Difficulties at home with his wife Sophie and their teenage daughter, as well as his co-workers Angela and the ambitious assistant Carrie, force King to push himself to the limit in a race against time. In addition, a British family in Srinagar in Kashmir, India, is also kidnapped. Time for Dominic King to get back into action.
