Ivanhoe plot

England is under Prince John's reign of terror. The brave knight Ivanhoe returns anonymously from the Crusades to claim his honor, his legacy and his beloved. In this spectacle, Ivanhoe becomes involved in a very bitter battle for the English throne between Prince John and his brother, King Richard. Ivanhoe has also been accused of treason and must do everything in his power to clear his name. This turns out to be anything but easy.

A beautiful series. Especially when you consider how the English can play. Beautiful adventure..... but I don't think it is for all ages as the DVD indicates. I would say 9 years and older in terms of viewing guideline. With both violence, fear. I wouldn't let the very young youth watch it. Small downside of the series is: the British can act even better than this. But definitely worth it.
