From the Earth to the Moon plot

From the Earth to the Moon tells the story of the Apollo, Mercury and Gemini space flights that America undertook in the 1970s. The miniseries gives a picture of the Apollo flights, each time from a different point of view. Apollo 17 would be the last of the Apollo missions and Gene Cernan and Harrison "Jack" Schmitt the last astronauts to set foot on the Moon for this Apollo project. Each episode begins with a short explanation from actor/director Tom Hanks.
