It's Garry Shandling's Show. plot
Garry Shandling more or less plays himself: a neurotic, slightly self-righteous stand-up comedian who just happens to be aware that he's a character from a sitcom. He communicates with the audience as much as with the rest of the cast and also does monologues at the beginning and end of the show, as George Burns did in his shows. However, all the characters here know that they are in a TV show and not just Garry. The audience is also often part of the show.
