De Freules plot

The sisters Adèle and Thérèse are two destitute ladies who live in an old dilapidated mansion with their butler Henri. After their brother Wim has died, the ladies are visited by notary Willig. He shows them the will that Wim left before his death. Wim promises to leave Adèle and Thérèse one million guilders if they raise their nephew, squire Arie-Frits, so well that he passes the Good Manners exam and can go to a chic boarding school in Wales. Since the sisters are forced to eat white beans in tomato sauce every day, they immediately take Arie-Frits into their home to teach him "how it should be done". But that's still not enough.
