Het Zwaard van Ardoewaan plot

Huoon and his twin brother Morholt return from a crusade on the paternal stronghold. The plague has ravaged Ardouwaan and their father has died of it. Now that both brothers are back, the question is who will rule the castle. Knight Gorneval, a friend of their father, tells the two brothers that Bragnit, the miraculous sword, decides who will be the lord of Arduwaan. The sword sits deep in an oak beam and whoever can pull it out becomes the new lord of Ardouwaan.
