The Mist plot
The Mist follows a small village family turned upside down by a brutal crime. Suddenly, a thick fog sweeps over the village, segregating the residents from the outside world and, in some cases, from each other. Family, friends and rivals must fight together against the mysterious fog and the threats in the fog. Meanwhile, they face insanity and moral dilemmas.

Nice series. I was never bored. The last three episodes really had me gripped. I don't understand the low score (especially on IMDB). Because of that score I pushed it aside for a long time, but I like this more than, for example, Van Helsing who scores just a little higher. Too bad The Mist has been canceled due to the end of this season. I'm just in the mood for more of this now. I actually thought the movie was a great rendition.
