Dempsey and Makepeace plot

The series revolves around the police duo, the straightforward New York detective James Dempsey and the quintessential English detective Lady Harriet Alexandra Charlotte Makepeace, or Harriet Makepeace for short. Dempsey is a rather rough type who had years of experience in the police profession. Makepeace is the daughter of an English lord and studied at the University of Cambridge. Despite their differences, the two are more than capable of working together in their mission to stop crime.
